All too often, complications can arise during pregnancy. It is for this reason that the High-Risk Obstetrics Program at Regional One Health is an invaluable asset to the community.
Each year, nearly 5,000 babies are successfully delivered at Regional Medical Center, of which approximately 25 percent are considered high-risk. The program receives 1,500 referrals annually due to complications in pregnancy. The facility has all the comforts of home, as well as the sophisticated equipment necessary to handle complications during delivery.
