Clinical Outcomes
A way to determine progress in rehabilitation is to measure improvement through clinical outcomes. Clinical outcomes are based on Functional Independence Measure scoring, which is the way we evaluate improvement in functional activities, such as dressing, walking, toileting, and problem-solving. Our FIM scores exceed the region and nation consistently.
When comparing clinical outcomes data by impairment group, although our patients stay in rehab a little longer, they make more progress and are discharged home at a higher rate than other programs in the region.
