Regional One Health is pleased to welcome Manoucheka Thermitus, MBA to the health system’s executive leadership team as chief operating officer.

Manoucheka Thermitus, MBA, is the new Chief Operating Officer at Regional One Health. She will lead a variety of clinical and non-clinical operational areas.

In her new role, Thermitus will lead clinical and non-clinical operational areas including pharmacy, surgical services, laboratory, imaging, food and nutrition services, environmental services, security and emergency management.

Thermitus said she looks forward to putting her experience to work to help Regional One Health continue to make a positive impact on families from across the Mid-South. “I possess a passion for solving problems while embracing change and delivering positive effects and outcomes on projects and departments,” she said. “My goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of others at the highest level possible.”

She has extensive experience in hospital administration, strategic planning, physician relations and patient experience. Prior to joining Regional One Health, she spent more than 10 years with the Tenet Healthcare system, serving as director of business development, chief strategy officer, and most recently chief operating officer at Saint Francis Hospital.

Thermitus earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and a Masters of Business Administration from The George Washington University.  She is a is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on the Tennessee Hospital Association Council on Inclusion and Health Equity, Mid-South American Heart Association Board of Directors, and Shelby County COVID-19 Task Force.
