Elvis Week 2017 marks the 40th anniversary since the passing of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, and it’s sure to be epic with fans from around the world converging on Memphis. Regional One Health is again excited to be part of the celebration, with the Elvis Presley Trauma Center Fan Reception on Aug. 13 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

At Regional One Health, Elvis’ loyal fans are such an important part of the health care we provide. Regional One Health’s Elvis Presley Trauma Center is designated as a Level 1 Trauma Center in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas, meaning a multidisciplinary team of highly trained specialists are in the center 24/7 ready to care for patients. It’s the only Level 1 trauma center within 150 miles and consistently is one of the three busiest in the U.S.

Elvis fans have generously supported the Elvis Presley Trauma Center since it opened its doors in 1983, and continue with donations through the Regional One Health Foundation.

The Elvis Presley Trauma Center Fan Reception will take place at the Park Café located inside Regional One Health at 877 Jefferson Ave. Light refreshments will be served and fans are welcome to take a free tour of the trauma center.

The tour will include the Elvis Presley Trauma Center donor wall, where hundreds of plaques recognize donors who have supported the center. Donnie Sumner, friend of Elvis and member of J.D. Sumner and The Stamps Quartet – Elvis’ backup singers from 1971 to 1977 – will be the guest speaker.

Valet parking is available at the main entrance facing Jefferson. Please call 901-545-6006 for more information.
