Vanessa Armenise, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified nurse practitioner in Regional One Health’s Surgical Oncology practice.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at New York University, graduating magna cum laude, and her Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner at Union University in Memphis. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse.
Vanessa has been in the nursing profession since 2006 and has focused on caring for patients with cancer since 2008.
She specializes in colorectal cancer and other benign colorectal surgical needs, working directly with physicians to provide inpatient and outpatient care. She has expertise in assisting with minimally invasive surgical approaches including laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery, as well as specialization in both pre-surgical and post-surgical ostomy care.
Vanessa also provides care for high-risk genetics patients and their families through consultation and surveillance.
She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and American Society of Clinical Oncology.
