Uniqua Cheairs, DNP, MSN, APRN, CNM

Uniqua Cheairs, DNP, APRN, CNM is a Certified Nurse Midwife at Regional One Health. She sees patients for prenatal care and women’s wellness through Regional One Health's Healthy Start program, which services qualifying patients who reside in specific zip codes in the Memphis community.

She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty of Nurse Midwifery degrees from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. She completed clinical residencies at Kaiser Permanente San Leandro Medical Center in California and CHOICES Center for Reproductive Health in Memphis.

She has nursing experience in settings including labor and delivery, skilled nursing, and pediatrics. She is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

As a provider, Uniqua is dedicated to offering compassionate and inclusive care to every patient she encounters. She understands that each person is unique and believes in treating not just the symptoms, but the individual as a whole. Uniqua genuinely enjoys building meaningful relationships with her patients, as she knows that getting to know them allows her to provide the best possible support and understanding during their journeys.
