Richard S. Johnson, DO is a board-certified general surgeon at Regional One Health.
Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree at Des Moines University and completed his residency in general surgery at University at Buffalo. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery with an emphasis on hernia and endoscopy at Ohio State University.
His research has been published in Annals of Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgery and presented at the Des Moines University Research Symposium. He has also published book chapters on endoscopic interventions.
