Michael Ulm, MD, MS, FACOG, a board-certified physician in obstetrics and gynecology, sees patients as part of Regional One Health’s medical oncology service.
Dr. Ulm earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Memphis at Rhodes College, followed by a Master of Science at Tulane University and his medical degree at University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, followed by fellowships in gynecologic oncology at West Cancer Center and University of Texas.
Dr. Ulm uses his skill and experience to identify and oversee chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy treatment options for women who are diagnosed with gynecological cancers such as cervical cancer, ovarian cancer and uterine cancer.
He has earned prestigious awards and honors, including the Golden Apple Award in Teaching Excellence at UTHSC, the IRIS Award for Excellence in Outpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement and Proficiency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Ulm’s research is published in several leading publications including Gynecologic Oncology, International Journal of Gynecological Cancer and Obstetrics & Gynecology.
