Emergency Medicine services at Regional One Health
Mary Withoelter, MSN, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner at Regional One Health in Emergency Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Southeast Missouri State University and her Master of Science in Nursing at Maryville University of St. Louis.
“I became a nurse practitioner to challenge myself,” Withoelter shared. “Although I loved being a nurse I enjoy the added knowledge and responsibility that comes with being an APRN. I am able to use new skills to help people while still maintaining core nursing perspective.”
Withoelter has nine years of emergency room experience as a registered nurse, which include working in both a level 1 and level 2 trauma center. Her personal philosophy is a quote by Maya Angelou that states, “As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul and body of our patients, their families and ourselves. They may forget your name, but they will never
forget how you made them feel.”
