Kathryn Wright, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, CNOR, RNFA is an advanced practice practitioner who specializes in gynecologic oncology at Regional One Health.
A native Memphian, Katie graduated Immaculate Conception High School for Girls and earned her Bachelor or Nursing degree at Union University in Jackson. She later attended University of Tennessee Health Science Health Center to complete the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner programs.
Katie graduated with the first cohort of UTHSC’s Registered Nurse First Assistant program in 2018, and in 2019 graduated cum laude from UTHSC with her DNP-FNP.
Along with her pursuit of higher education, Katie has a wealth of patient care experience. She previously worked as an operating room nurse and in the HIV clinic at Regional One Health and served as a Surgical Services Systems Administrator in the St. Francis medical system.
Katie is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international nursing honors society. She is active in professional organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Oncology Nursing Society, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses, American Nurses Association and Tennessee Nurses Association.
Outside of work, Katie is active in her church and enjoys spending time with her husband, four children and chocolate lab. She is a lifetime member of Girl Scouts USA, and volunteers with her sons’ Boy Scouts troop and daughters’ Girl Scouts troops.
