Jasmine Walker, DNP, CNM
Jasmine N. Walker, DNP, CNM is a Certified Nurse Midwife at Regional One Health. She sees patients for woman’s wellness and prenatal care at the Main Campus, East Campus, and Hollywood Primary Care, and provides childbirth support at the Labor & Delivery Center.
Jasmine earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Along with her credentials as a Certified Nurse Midwife, Jasmine earned a Postpartum Support International and The Policy Center of Maternal Mental Health Certificate and Electric Fetal Monitoring Certification.
She has been seeing patients in Regional One Health’s midwifery practice since 2025. Before that, Jasmine cared for patients at Regional One Health as a Registered Nurse. She has experience in various settings including intensive care step-down, labor and delivery, and inpatient psychiatric care.
Jasmine’s passion for women’s health led her to focus her studies on empowering women, especially Black women in underserved communities of Memphis. She has taken an interest in policy development to help increase access and equity of care in maternity health amongst underserved and rural communities and was selected to attend the Student Policy Summit in Washington, DC, to learn how to develop policies and the intricate details of legislation. She advocated on Capitol Hill for increasing government funds to help benefit the nursing profession and growth in the United States.
She was a member of the Pillar 4 Work Group and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, in which she has been writing objectives and strategies to help better academic relations and student life. She also served on the Interprofessional Council, where she worked with like-minded individuals to improve communication and interactions among healthcare professionals to improve patient health outcomes and create a sense of community amongst healthcare workers.
Jasmine is a member of the Tennessee Nurses Association and American College of Nurse Midwives.
