Gayle Minard, MD, FACS, is a trauma surgeon at Regional One Health and a professor in the department of surgery at University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Minard received her medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, OH, and completed her internship and residency in general surgery at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, PA.

Dr. Minard serves on the Infection Control Committee and Blue Alert Committee at Regional One Health and is chair of the Clinical Sciences Subcommittee at University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She has numerous journal articles published in publications such as The Journal of Tennessee Medical Association, The American Journal of Surgery, and Journal of Trauma and Acute Care.

Dr. Minard has presented papers at conferences in states such as Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, and California. Dr. Minard has been a visiting professor and spoken at lectures for Methodist Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, ASPEN’s 21st Clinical Congress in San Francisco, CA, and Pinnacle Health Hospital in Harrisburg, PA.
