Cory Evans, MD

Cory Evans, MD is a trauma surgeon at Regional One Health and an assistant professor in the department of surgery at University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Evans received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He completed his internship and residency at Northshore-LIJ Health System/Hofstra University School of Medicine in Manhasset, NY. Dr. Evans completed his fellowship in surgical critical care and trauma at University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

Dr. Evans’ work has been published in academic journals such as the Journal of Neuroscience, Journal of Neurophysiology, and the Journal of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery.  He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
