Amber Thacker, MD, is a hospitalist at Regional One Health. Dr. Thacker attended medical school at University of South Alabama and completed her residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC).

Dr. Thacker’s past research focused on lab-based Immunology and led to two publications in the Journal of Immunology, multiple abstracts and meeting presentations. In addition to her clinical research work, Dr. Thacker is involved in state and national health care policy and advocacy work, as well as the Internal Medicine residency program and the Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (Med/Peds) residency program at UTHSC.
