Adam C. ElNaggar, MD is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist in Regional One Health’s medical oncology practice.
Dr. ElNaggar earned his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center.
As part of our oncology practice, Dr. ElNaggar specializes in using surgical and medical therapies such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy in the treatment of gynecologic cancers. His focus on gynecologic cancers allows him to provide expert care to women with cancer affecting their reproductive organs, such as ovarian, uterine, cervical, and vulvar cancers.
Dr. ElNaggar is the Director of Gynecologic Cancer Research at the West Cancer Center and research institute. He led efforts for the University of Tennessee and West Cancer Center to become main site members of NRG Oncology and the Gynecologic Oncology Group, two collaborative research organizations. He serves as the gynecologic disease site principal investigator for NRG and GOG studies, as well as industry sponsored trials. He currently serves on the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) ovarian cancer panel and is a recognized leader in the field.
Dr. ElNaggar’s clinical interests include clinical trials, personalized medicine, advanced surgical techniques, and targeted therapies. He is a member of multiple professional societies and committees, both regionally and nationally. He has authored numerous publications and has been highly recognized for outstanding presentations and abstracts.
