Karoline Neely, CTRT is a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Therapist at the Regional One Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital.

She earned her Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation at Brigham Young University Idaho.  She is also a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and Certified Therapeutic Drumming Instructor.

Karoline has experience working with both children and adults and has been caring for patients at Regional One Health since 2022.

She is an active volunteer for the Memphis Rollin Grizzlies Wheelchair Basketball Team, where she serves as a coach’s assistant and team assistant. This has allowed her to develop mentoring opportunities for spinal cord injury patients at the Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, and she looks forward to continuing to expand opportunities in the future.

Karoline also worked with Mid-South Therapy Dogs to bring animal therapy to the Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, providing another tool to support patients as they recovery from injuries and illness. She is always looking for new ways to provide therapeutic recreation for patients, and is working on a game that is inclusive for patients without fine point discrimination or grasp.
