Aneel Kumar, MD

Aneel Kumar, MD is a physician and hospitalist at Regional One Health and an assistant professor in the department of medicine at University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Kumar received his medical degree from Sindh Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and did his internship at Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center in Karachi, Pakistan. Dr. Kumar did his internal medicine residency at University of Tennessee Health Science Center and his nephrology fellowship at University of Texas Medical School in Houston, TX.

Dr. Kumar has given presentations in cities such as Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA; and New Orleans, LA. Dr. Kumar is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Kumar is fluent in English, Urdu, and Sindhi.
