Tamara Banks, MSN, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner at Regional One Health’s South Third Primary Care. Banks earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
“I became a nurse practitioner to be able to better serve my patients,” Banks said. “My favorite part is being able to make a difference in my patient’s life by improving his or her clinical outcomes and health status.”
When Banks is caring for her patients, she treats them the way she would want a family member to be treated if they were seeking medical care. “My patient care ‘philosophy’ is to treat every patient as if they were my own family,” Banks shared. She has over two decades of healthcare experience ranging from obstetrics and gynecology, intensive care, dialysis/nephrology and retail healthcare.
