Sandra Fletchall, OTR/L, CHT, MPA, FAOTA is Manager of Burn Rehabilitation at Regional One Health’s Firefighters Burn Center.
She leads rehabilitation services over the full continuum of burn care, including intensive and acute care and inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. She is a specialist in traumatic limb loss, burn injury, and traumatic hand and upper extremity injuries.
Sandra earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Missouri, Columbia and her Masters of Public Health Administration from University of Memphis. She is a Certified Hand Therapist and Certified and Licensed Occupational Therapist, and also earned specialized certification in myoelectric prosthetic training.
In her academic role, Sandra is an assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy and a clinical educator in the Master of Occupational Therapy program at University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
Sandra’s work has been published in a number of medical journals, including Burns Open, American Occupational Therapy Association, Clinics in Plastic Surgery and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She has received a number of awards during her career, including the Barbara Knothe Burn Therapist Achievement Award from the American Burn Association, HealthCare Provider Non-Physician Award from the Memphis Business Journal, Excellence in Teaching Award from the UTHSC Student Government Association, and Leadership, Master Clinician and Clinical Education awards from the Tennessee Occupational Therapy Association.
She is a member of the American Burn Association, American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics, American Occupational Therapy Association, American Society of Hand Therapists, Amputee Coalition, International Society of Burn Injury, International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics, Phoenix Society, and Tennessee Occupational Therapy Association.
