Saloni Mehrotra, MD is a board-certified surgical oncologist specializing in the treatment of colorectal cancer with Regional One Health Cancer Care. She offers advanced, compassionate care for a wide range of colorectal conditions and brings deep clinical expertise and a patient-first philosophy to every interaction, empowering patients with knowledge, support and individualized treatment plans.

Dr. Mehrotra earned her medical degree at the Saint University School of Medicine and graduated with honors with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Buffalo, followed by a year of specialty training with a fellowship in colorectal surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She has a special interest in surgical innovation and spent a year working with a medical device and AI startup company in their clinical research and R&D department.

Dr. Mehrotra has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented her research on national stages. She is an active member of both the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. In addition to surgical innovation, she has performed clinical outcomes-based research. She is committed to delivering high-quality, coordinated care that improves outcomes and enhances the patient experience.

Whether treating complex colorectal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease or benign anorectal conditions, Dr. Mehrotra is known for her technical excellence, warm bedside manner and collaborative approach. She is proud to be part of a multidisciplinary team advancing surgical care in Memphis and is excited to work alongside colleagues who share her passion for innovation and excellence in patient care.
