Quin Throckmorton, MD

Quin Throckmorton, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in elbow surgery, shoulder surgery, and total joint replacement.

Dr. Throckmorton earned his medical degree at University of Iowa College of Medicine after receiving his bachelor's degree at Vanderbilt University.

He completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and a Shoulder & Elbow Surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic. He also completed an American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Traveling Exchange Fellowship and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Leadership Fellows Program.

Dr. Throckmorton serves as Consultant Reviewer for the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, Journal of The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Seminars in Arthroplasty: JSES, and Shoulder and Elbow.

He is a member of the NEER Circle, 20th Century Orthopaedic Association American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, Association of Clinical Elbow and Shoulder Surgeons, European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow (ESSSE/SECEC), American Orthopaedic Association, Mid-America Orthopaedic Association, Mayo Elbow Club, Mayo Orthopaedic Alumni Association, Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Society, Willis C.
