Omobonike Olowosuko, DO, is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician at Regional One Health.
Dr. Olowosuko earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, then completed her Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency and a traditional osteopathic rotating internship at Hofstra North Shore-Long Island School of Medicine in Manhasset, New York. She also undertook an Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal fellowship at Pain and Spine Consultants in Brentwood, Tennessee.
As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician, Dr. Olowosuko specializes in taking a whole-patient approach to care, and working with patients who require rehabilitation therapy to improve their functional abilities after an injury or illness.
She provides consultation, medical management and pain pharmacotherapy management for patients with musculoskeletal injuries, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, neurological conditions, pulmonary and cardiac conditions, and wounds. Her specialties include peripheral joint injections, including trigger point injections, intra-articular upper and lower extremity joint injections, bursa injections and peripheral blocks.
Dr. Olowosuko aims to motivate her patients to play an active role in their healing, her credo being, “The only limits to your functional status are those you put on yourself – let’s work together to remove all limits!”
Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, travelling, fishing, cooking, and music.
