Benjamin Carroll, MD

Dr. Carroll specializes in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery and sees patients in Regional One Health's Focused Ultrasound program.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Medicine, where he also completed his neurosurgery residency.

He completed his fellowship at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus, training in advanced techniques for the surgical management of movement disorders, epilepsy, craniofacial pain, and other complex neurological conditions.

“To see focused ultrasound patients mere minutes after their procedure signing their names or drinking out of a water bottle with ease when a few hours before the water would have been all over the floor – these are some of the most gratifying moments in my practice,” he said. “There’s nothing like it in the world of medicine.”
