Ambrosia Scott, DPT, LAT, CCI, CIDN, GTS, LSVT BIG is the Outpatient Rehabilitation Manager at Regional One Health, where she manages and oversees clinical operations for multiple outpatient clinics at the health care system’s main campus and East Campus locations.
As a physical therapist, Ambrosia sees patients for the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic, neurologic, trauma and work-related diagnoses.
She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis after attending Jackson State University for her Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education and Recreation/Sports Medicine.
Ambrosia went on to earn specialized certifications to provide therapy for Parkinson’s disease patients as an LSVT BIG Professional, and to address pain and movement impairments as a Certified Dry Needling Professional. She has performed advanced training in the Graston Technique, a form of soft tissue therapy.
Ambrosia is also an American Physical Therapy Association Credentialed Clinical Instructor and American Heart Association Basic Life Support/First Aid instructor.
She has conducted research on the effects of ultrasound on chronic tendonitis and is an active member of the Occupational Advisory Committee Concorde Career College PTA Program.
