Michael G. Martin, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist at Regional One Health. He earned his undergraduate degree at University of Memphis and his medical degree at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, where he was named the Outstanding Medical Student Award and graduated with Highest Honors in 2003.

Dr. Martin completed his residency in internal medicine at Duke University Medical Center, and a fellowship in medical oncology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

As a hematologist and medical oncologist, he specializes in interventions such as chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy to treat blood cancers including leukemia and lymphoma.

Dr. Martin has been recognized for his role as a researcher, educator and exceptional patient care provider. He earned the Faculty of the Year Award and Marion Dugdale Outstanding Faculty Award at The West Clinic/University of Tennessee Division of Hematology/Oncology and was recognized with the Outstanding Attending Award at UTHSC.

His research has appeared in Immunological Reviews, Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and The Lancet, among other leading industry publications.
