Mack Land, MD, is a physician at Regional One Health and a professor in the department of medicine at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he received his medical degree, completed his internship and residency in internal medicine, and his fellowship in infectious diseases.
“I became a physician to care for patients by improving their health both physically and spiritually,” Dr. Land shared. “The best gift a physician can give a patient is to make the correct diagnosis.” Dr. Land has provided over three decades of care to his patients and their families. Through his work, he has been involved with the HIV epidemic since the beginning.
Dr. Land is a member of Infectious Diseases Society of America, American College of Physicians, Memphis and Shelby County Medical Society, Tennessee Medical Association, and American Medical Association. His work has been showcased at presentations in California, Louisiana, and Chattanooga, TN. Dr. Land has been recognized as one of The Best Doctors in America listing since 1996.
