Cinda Cox-Berryhill, MSN, FNP- BC, is a family nurse practitioner at Regional One Health. She received her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Memphis.
“I became a nurse practitioner because I wanted to help the community,” Cox-Berryhill shared. She spent eight years working in the cardiac unit of the hospital and saw the need for medical help and education. As an FNP, she feels she can make a difference by educating her patients to improve their health and have a better quality of life.
She says the medical profession is here to provide for the healthcare needs of the community, and she wants to be a healthcare professional who provides our patients with quality treatment that is based on their specific needs. She uses a quote by Mahatma Gandhi to emphasize this point, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
Cox-Berryhill has lived in the Memphis community, and attended the University of Memphis, so she has a special place in her heart to help the community through her work at Regional One Health.
