Arvind Chandrashekar, MD is a board-certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Medicine specialist and is the Director of the Acute Pain Service and Regional Anesthesia at Regional One Health.

Dr. Chandrashekar earned his medical degree at KVG Medical College in India, then completed his Anesthesiology residency and Pain Medicine fellowship at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

In his academic role at University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Dr. Chandrashekar is an assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Program Director for the Anesthesiology Residency Program.

He is a member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, American Society of Anesthesiologists, Tennessee Society of Anesthesiologists, Mississippi Society of Anesthesiologists, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.

His research has been published in Journal of Medicine-Clinical Research & Reviews, Journal of Medical Case Reports and Case Series, Pain Physician Journal and other medical publications, and he is a frequent presenter at professional conferences across the country.
