Amy Rost, APRN
Amy Rost is a Trauma Nurse Practitioner at Regional One Health’s Elvis Presley Trauma Center.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Memphis, graduating Summa Cum Laude and as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. She completed her residency at Somerville Medical Clinic.
Amy started her nursing career in 2010 and has worked in Regional One Health’s Trauma Center, Progressive Care Unit, and COVID-19 Unit. Along with providing direct patient care, she has served in a leadership role as a Patient Care Coordinator.
She is skilled in patient and family advocacy, clinical judgment, and culturally competent care and has clinical experience in tracheostomy care, colostomy care, and ventilator usage.
She prides herself on her strong medical ethics, enthusiasm as a caregiver, professional bedside manner, and strong patient satisfaction ratings.
