More than 900 Mid-Southerners supported the life-saving work of the Foundation by attending ONE Night 2016 on Saturday, April 9, at the Memphis Cook Convention Center. As the Foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year, ONE Night helps provide the state-of-the-art medical equipment and specialized training that save lives every day throughout the Regional One Health system.
Dr. Reginald Coopwood, president and CEO of Regional One Health, kicked off the event by reminding guests that “Your life. Our passion” is more than a mere tag line to over 3,000 physicians and employees of Regional One Health. He says, “These dedicated individuals come to work daily with the sole purpose of making a difference in the lives of those we serve. This “is” their passion.”
Thank you for your support. Together, we’ll develop a better health care system that will give the next generation of young minds the best chance to become successful and make our great city even better.
Dr. Reginald Coopwood welcomed guest speaker and former patient,Serena McDaniel, to the stage to share her incredible journey. Serena was airlifted to Regional One Health where she had three surgeries, spent 10 days on a ventilator and 336 hours not knowing her name.
