Laura Detti, MD, is a reproductive endocrinologist who specializes in male and female infertility. She has earned national and international recognition as an expert in reproductive and gynecological ultrasound and fertility preservation. Dr. Detti earned her medical degree at the University of Florence in Italy. She completed her OB/GYN residency at University of Cincinnati, University of Virginia and University of Florida. She completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and research fellowships at Yale University and the University of Mississippi. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology with subspecialty certification in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Dr. Detti has published content on various reproductive topics including early pregnancy, assistant reproduction and ultrasound. She is also a reviewer of over a dozen peer-reviewed medical journals. She serves as associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Tennessee Health Science Center and frequently instructs medical students and residents. She frequently has been named to the Best Doctors lists for her expertise.
Kathleen Miller is vice president of laboratory services. She leads our team specializing in assisted reproduction technologies. She is the author of more than 100 abstracts and papers on fertility and assisted reproduction technologies. Dr. Miller is well known for research advances in the fields of blastocyst culture and pre-implantation genetics as well as a leading expert in laboratory management, quality improvement programs and single-embryo transfer.
Miller has led state-of-the-art designed laboratories that continue to deliver exceptional pregnancy rates and cutting-edge technologies across North America. Those labs include Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana; University of Alabama; Advanced Reproductive Medicine and Gynecology’s Fertility Institute of Hawaii; Aurora Reproductive Care in Saskatoon, Canada; Coastal Fertility Center in Charleston, South Carolina; UNC Fertility Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina; SpringCreek Fertility in Dayton, Ohio; and Family Fertility Center at Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women in Houston.
Joy Peterson, B.S., T.S. (AAB), ELD (ABB), earned her bachelor’s degree in animal science from Illinois State University and has pursued graduate coursework in aquaculture and reproductive physiology at Illinois State University and the University of Missouri. She is certified as a Technical Supervisor and an Embryology Laboratory Director with ABB. Joy worked as a clinical manager of fertility, and with more than 20 years of ART laboratory experience joined MedTech For Solutions as an Consulting Embryologist and Quality Assurance Manager.
