Home to the High-Risk Obstetrics Program, multiple births are not uncommon at Regional Medical Center.  But quadruplets?  That’s a little more rare.  In the last two years, staff at Regional Medical Center has delivered one set of quadruplets, compared to five triplets and 150 twins.

Erica Moering was surprised when she learned she was pregnant, and she received the surprise of her life when she found out she’d be delivering quadruplets. Mom and dad both have twins in their family, but they never dreamed of the possibility of four.

On June 17, 2015, Xavier, Jasmine, Karina and Miracle were born at Regional Medical Center at just 29 weeks.  Each weighing less than 2 pounds, the babies all spent time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  The Regional Medical Center team of doctors and nurses who cared for mom and the babies hosted a baby shower for the family and FOX 13 news was there.
